Our charming first floor apartment consists of one bedroom with a king size bed and a kitchen-cum-living room that includes a king size sofa bed. Like all the other rooms, the apartment features a bathroom, heating/air conditioning, TV and free wi-fi access. The entrance opens onto a small balcony where, on a sunny day, you will be graced with a view on the sea and may also be able to catch a glimpse of the islands off the coast. Private parking is available for our guests.
The breakfast hall is decorated with works coming from various plaster cast galleries in Carrara and neighboring towns. The wall on the mountain side boasts a plaster high relief by the great sculptor Aldo Buttini. The renowned sculptor used the marble from his hometown to give life to works of unquestionable value and academic interest. Buttini remained a faithful admirer of the works of Michelangelo Buonarroti, the giant he shared the same raw material with: the white Statuario marble from Carrara. Buttini started teaching figurative drawing and decorative sculpture at Liceo Artistico in Carrara and was a member of the G. Cappellini Science Academy in La Spezia. When he was commissioned a polychrome marble reproduction of Leonardo’s The Last Supper for a monumental cemetery in the USA (1953), he first prepared a plaster cast that he used to try out the colors. The very same plaster cast now adorns our breakfast hall for both ours and our guests’ delight.

The Bed & Breakfast is surrounded by a 5.000 m2 garden born of the union of new plants and older olive trees that have been grown in this estate for more than a century.
